Privacy Policy

Last updated August 1, 2026 — Version 1.2

PULSE is a shared platform, operated by 9437-0780 Québec Inc., doing business as Barranco Partners (Montréal, Québec, Canada), and used by multiple independent restaurant groups. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain because that’s how we’d want it.

Who’s responsible for your data

For personal data your workspace collects about your own guests, employees, and operations — names, contact details, schedules, sales — your workspace (restaurant group) is the data controller: you decide what’s collected and why, and you’re responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. PULSE acts as your data processor — we handle that data only to provide the service, on your workspace’s instructions, and never repurpose it for our own use.

For questions about how your specific workspace uses your data, contact your workspace administrator. For questions about how PULSE itself processes and secures data across the platform, contact us below.

What we collect

  • Account details you provide (name, email, role, and your group/location).
  • Operational data from the tools you connect — QuickBooks, your POS (Auphan), and Clover.
  • Standard technical logs needed to run the service securely and diagnose issues.

How we use it

We use your data for one purpose: to provide PULSE to you — your dashboards, financials, analytics, scheduling, and the alerts that depend on them. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your data stays yours

The numbers that flow into PULSE belong to your business. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time. If you stop using PULSE, your connected accounts keep their own records — PULSE only ever reads from them.

Connected services

When you link QuickBooks, Auphan, or Clover, you authorize PULSE to read the data needed to power your dashboards. Those connections are scoped per location and can be revoked from your settings or from the provider directly.

Security

Access is authenticated and scoped by role and location. Sensitive data is handled through server-side service roles, never written directly from the browser. We monitor for security issues continuously and address them promptly.

Cross-Border Transfers

Your data is processed using Supabase, infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services. We also use Sentry for error and performance monitoring, which may process limited technical data (such as IP address) outside Québec. Some data may therefore be stored or processed outside Québec. We have conducted a Privacy Impact Assessment for these transfers and apply contractual safeguards consistent with Law 25 requirements.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your active subscription plus 30 days after cancellation, at which point it is permanently deleted on request. Backup snapshots are retained for up to 90 days.

Your Rights

Under Québec Law 25, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information at cai.gouv.qc.ca. To exercise your rights, visit /data-request or email fidel@barrancopartners.com.
