Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of PULSE, operated by Barranco Partners (Montréal, QC). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Early access
PULSE is in early access and provided free during this period. We’re building it page by page, so features may change, and the service is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis while we develop it together with operators.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity under your account. Access is scoped by role and location — only grant access to people who should have it.
Your data and connections
You retain ownership of your business data. By connecting QuickBooks, Auphan, or Clover, you confirm you’re authorized to do so and grant PULSE permission to read the data needed to power your dashboards. You can disconnect at any time.
Your responsibilities as data controller
PULSE is a shared platform used by multiple independent restaurant groups. If you collect or process personal data about your own guests or employees using PULSE, you are the data controller for that data under applicable privacy law (including Québec’s Law 25), and you’re responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process it and for your own compliance obligations to your guests and staff. PULSE acts as your data processor, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use PULSE for operating your own business. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, access data that isn’t yours, or reverse-engineer the platform.
Plans and changes
All features are free during early access. Paid plans will be introduced later; you’ll be told before anything changes, and you keep your data and setup either way.
Intellectual Property
PULSE — including its software, design, branding, and content — is the property of 9437-0780 Québec Inc. Your use of the service grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access PULSE for operating your own business. No other rights are granted, and you may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these terms or your use of PULSE will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Montréal, Québec.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 9437-0780 Québec Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of PULSE. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount of fees you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
